Liquid phase activated carbon attracts and holds organic chemicals from liquid streams and removes unwanted chemicals. All of our carbon filtration solutions feature activated carbon made from bituminous coal, lignite coal, coconut shell and wood.
- Cost effective for removing dilute concentrations of contamination.
- Activated carbon is used to filter out VOC’s, such as Benzene, Toluene, Xylene, oils and some chlorinated compounds from a water source or air sample.
- Carbon absorbs organic chemicals best, but is not effective at removing minerals, salts, and dissolved inorganic substances.
